The month of JULY we will  have the Smith Street Designs Trunkshow.  Come in and see this awesome collection of quilts and wallhangings.  We will also show and share the Tulip Time Block of the Month quilts we have been working on since January.  To reward you for coming in all Smith Street Design collections/patterns will be offered at 20% off our regular prices. 

JULY CLASSES ... Mondays ... Machine Embroidery and Quilting project using "Life is a Beach" design collection from Smith Street Designs.     Wednesdays ... XBlock Venetian Tiles Quilt teaches strip piecing, rotary cutting and working with bias edges.  Learn about colour values.

SOFTWARE CLASS ... Two full days with Kerrin Brookes (sewing specialist from British Columbia).  You will work with the 4D Creative Suite and creative a beautiful butterfly wallhanging.  Come on in to view to the sample and sign up for the class.  Space is limited ... don't miss this special class.  Don't own the software yet, we can get you up and running in time to participate in this exciting class.

What's new ...

Our spring fabrics have begun to arrive.  The colours are cheery and uplifting.  Any day now our new spring knits (ideal for tops, dresses and more) in a dazzling range of colours will be coming in.  As usual our linens will appeal to both the garment makers and the home deco sewers. 

Our "Amy Butler" patterns have arrived. These patterns combined with our bright spring fabrics are sure to entice even the most reluctant sewer.  Turn a rainy evening or weekend into a productive time and stitch up a new bag or two.  Be sure to come in get inspired!  AMY BUTLER fabrics are also now in stock.  We have cottons for quilting and home dec fabrics to jazz up your summer decor.

We run a variety of sewing classes from beginner sewing and serging, garment making, specialty embroidery and technique classes and, of course, children's sewing classes.  Our full class list will be posted shortly.  In the meantime, do not hesitate to contact us for further details.
